| Welcome to my cozy little work space. This is the tidiest it is ever going to look, because I took this picture before I 'moved' in. Now you can hardly see the floor! But that's okay, I know where everything is … sort of. The walls are painted in contrasting shades of orange which is one of my fave colors, and I am happy to say I put the shelves up over the art table and they haven't fallen down yet. When I come in here, I instantly relax. With music as my muse, I'll kick back and sketch, play with some paint or get my head down on a live project to meet an upcoming deadline. Favorite items of inspiration, or things that just make me smile, include a signed print by illustrator Penelope Dullaghan, genius behind Illustration Friday; a silk-screened scarf turned into a wall-hanging bought in Covent Garden many, many moons ago; a Japanese shadow puppet and my fandabbytastic spin-around work chair. I LOVE my chair! |
